Our multiple State and National award winning chapter, based in Victoria, Texas and serving; Calhoun, DeWitt, Goliad, Gonzales, Jackson, Lavaca, Refugio, and Victoria, Texas counties was established in 2022 to raise money for wild turkey conservation.

The chapter’s focus is to introduce more outdoor enthusiasts to the NWTF HEALTHY HABITATS and HEALTHY HARVESTS conservation initiatives in southeast Texas. In addition, we look to achieve the following:

• Invigorate the NWTF brand locally by engaging with local businesses and conservation / hunting interest groups to become more involved in helping us increase NWTF membership and donations

• Award an annual student scholarship

• Support and sponsor local Texas Brigades and Texas Golden Crescent Counties Natural Resources 4-H

Mark August 14 on your calendar and get your tickets now for the next local Hunting Heritage Banquet.

The Golden Crescent of Texas Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) will host their annual banquet at (Location) to raise money for projects that conserve wildlife and preserve (State’s) hunting heritage.

“This is the chapter’s third year hosting our banquet, and every year is better than the one before,” said Lee Zimmerman. “It’s the best opportunity in town to meet other people who care about conservation while enjoying good food, good music and good fun.”

Dinner starts at around 7:30 pm., but arrive at 5 pm. to enjoy a social hour before the banquet begins.
